About Project

The CRN Main Building at Sapumalkanda is a historically significant structure originally constructed during the British colonial period in Sri Lanka. This project marks the first major renovation undertaken on the building since its original construction, with a strong focus on preserving its heritage value while upgrading it to meet modern functional and safety standards.

The scope of work covered the Ground Floor, First Floor, and Second Floor, ensuring a comprehensive restoration of the entire building. Major replacement works included the roof structure, timber flooring, and complete internal and external painting, all carried out with careful attention to quality and durability.

In addition to replacements, extensive renovation works were completed on windows, external cladding, and steel structures, enhancing both the structural integrity and aesthetic appearance of the building while maintaining its original architectural character.

The project was executed within the planned timeframe and budget, meeting all client specifications and quality expectations. Lalan Rubbers (Pvt) Ltd expressed high satisfaction with the workmanship, attention to detail, and overall project delivery, making this renovation a proud milestone in preserving a valuable heritage building for future generations.
